Hello, hello, hello from Echo!

This is the start of something great! We’ve decided to establish a weekly blog so we can share our ideas, experience and expertise more easily with you. This space will become a forum for discussion and innovation as we continue our mission to provide high quality interpreters and note takers to the Deaf community. We also want to know what you think, so please reach out and tell us what you’d like to see in this space.

To understand where we want to go, it’s important to know where we came from. Echo Interpreting was established in 2006 by interpreter Danielle Don, with the aim of creating a personalised interpreter booking service that the Deaf community can rely on. We strive to deliver personalised, professional, prompt and preferred service to all of our clients, and trust that our small team will work diligently to make sure that all client needs are met.

We understand that having the right support is vital to living a fulfilling and exciting life, and we are committed to being there when we are needed most. You can enjoy all of life’s best moments with the support of our team of interpreters and notetakers, perfect for everything from weddings and parties to classes and meetings.

We employ professional interpreters certified through the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) and take pride in matching interpreter skills with client needs, ensuring a smooth experience for everyone. Like Danielle, our booking team makes the needs of the client and interpreters their number one priority, and are always on-hand to provide support, information and guidance. We cater to a wide range of clients, including those who hail from the government, education and corporate sectors. We also offer a diverse range of experienced interpreters for those every day appointments, errands and functions.

We want to use this blog to explore Echo’s role in the interpreting landscape and the journey we’re taking to provide the best service possible, but we can’t do that without your input. We want to hear what you have to say, so please reach out and let us know what you’d like to see in this space. You can shoot us a message via Facebook or on our email, info@echointerpreting.com.au.
