About Echo Interpreting
Echo interpreting was established in February 2006 by Danielle Don with the aim of providing a more personalised interpreter booking agency to service the needs of the Deaf and wider community.
Danielle has been working as an interpreter since 2000 and is accredited at the professional interpreter level through NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters).
Echo Interpreting has grown to become the preferred choice of many clients seeking to book Auslan Interpreters and Notetakers. We have experience providing interpreting services in a wide range of settings including government, corporate, legal, and financial meetings, education, conferences, public events, training days and more. Echo Interpreting is also able to provide interpreters for large scale public events and has previously provided services for Oprah Winfrey, Arnold Schwarzenegger, parliamentary addresses, Carols by Candlelight and the Variety Children’s Charity “Very Special Kids Christmas Party”.
As part of an on-going commitment to customer satisfaction and professional integrity Echo Interpreting only employs NAATI accredited interpreter/s.
We pride ourselves on being able to provide the most appropriately skilled interpreter for your specific assignment, and have a strong commitment to providing a personalised, professional, prompt and preferred service to all our clients.

New Graduate Program
From time to time Echo Interpreting offers a New Graduate Position. This position is aimed at assisting newly graduated interpreters into the profession.
New graduates who are involved in this program gain the support and guidance of seasoned professional level mentors. It is a highly supportive and encouraging environment for new interpreters as they begin their Auslan interpreting careers. In conjunction to working with experienced team interpreters, new graduates can enjoy the benefits of debriefing/feedback sessions with their mentors to assess and improve their performance.
Echo Interpreting is committed to nurturing new interpreters who will in turn service the needs of the Deaf community for years to come.
